The Facilitation Skills Workshop held from 18th to 21st July at Sekem Eco-lodge, Al-
Sharqeya, Egypt, aimed to empower 25 youth non-formal educators, with essential
facilitation skills using the new "Ya Salam" activities’ manual.
The workshop included interactive icebreakers, in-depth sessions, and practical
exercises to develop facilitation techniques.
These activities promote empathy, conflict resolution, and inclusivity.. etc.
The program concluded with reflective discussions and preparations for future
facilitation opportunities, laying a strong foundation for promoting a culture of peace and
effective facilitation among children.
