Working on its project for Promoting Social Cohesion between Youths from Egypt and South
Sudan, ACT implemented a 3 days’ Game Design workshop, where 13 participants from Egypt
and South Sudan, from different backgrounds and various fields, gathered together to play and
design games with lots of fun and laughter.
The workshop was held in Tolip Borg El-Arab Hotel in Alexandria, from 6 th to 8 th of August 2024,
with the main goal to design games for promoting social cohesion between Youths, and resulted
in designing 11 prototypes for joyful and purposeful card games, which would be used then to
produce a card game by the end of 2024.
